St. Peter Celebrates Service Milestones

Staff members of St. Peter Lutheran Church and School celebrated service milestones at the conclusion of the 2008-2009 school year. Principal Takes Pie in the Face
Students at St. Peter Lutheran School in Arlington Heights have been working hard for a good cause. The whole student body raised funds for the American Heart Association through a Jump Rope and Hoops for Heart fundraiser.The students were challenged to see how many lives they could save as $50 would save one life.Principal Bruce Rudi volunteered to take 3 pies in the face from students as encouragement to help save lives.Each $50 gave a student one chance at being chosen to “pie the principal.”Jumping and playing basketball in honor of loved ones who have dealt or are ...
